UPDATE – Power has been restored to all buildings. FMS personnel are working to restore campus chilled water service, and heat and ventilation in the buildings that lost power.

SUBJECT: Major Electric and Chilled Water Failure on Main Campus
At 1:15 AM today Electric Power was lost to the following buildings: Hamerschlag Hall, Newell Simon Hall, Smith Hall, Doherty Hall, Gates-Hillman Center, Hamburg Hall, Roberts Hall, Scaife Hall and the FMS Building. As a result of this power loss, all Chilled Water to ALL main campus buildings was also lost. FMS crews and Duquesne Light are currently working to restore power to the extent possible and then restore chilled water.
