REMINDER – The City of Pittsburgh fire alarm and sprinkler inspection for the Mellon Institute Hinman Lab Renovation (6th floor) and the Gittis Lab Renovation (2nd floor) will take place on Thursday, 1/7, starting at 10:00AM. The anticipated duration of this inspection is two (2) hours.
The alarm speakers and strobes will be activated briefly during this test, however, you will not be required to evacuate the building. Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding fire alarms at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.

The City of Pittsburgh has rescheduled the fire alarm inspection for the Hinman Lab Renovation 6th floor and the Gittis Lab Renovation 2nd floor in MI to January 7th, 2021. The time of the inspection is yet to be confirmed and will be relayed post Winter Break. Please note that the alarm speakers and strobes will be activated briefly during these tests.
