Duquesne Light returned to Mellon Institute this evening to reset their equipment associated with this morning’s power fault. They experienced an issue that caused a power loss to portions of Mellon Institute. Normal power has been restored.
Duquesne Light will return tomorrow to complete repairs. However, any fault on the utility company high voltage circuit can cause power irregularities that impact equipment. FMS staff are confirming building system operations and we recommend departments check their sensitive electronic equipment.

Normal power has been restored in all buildings. However, any fault on the utility company high voltage circuit can cause power irregularities that impact equipment. FMS staff are confirming building system operations and we recommend departments check their sensitive electronic equipment.
