SUBJECT: Power Blip Affecting Multiple Buildings

The Duquesne Light electrical utility experienced a power irregularity last night that affected CMU buildings in Oakland.  Power remained on, but there was a blip.  FMS crews are checking systems in buildings, and we recommend departments review their equipment to confirm normal operation.

Issues with Duquesne Light power supply can cause breakers to trip, momentary voltage sags, phase imbalances or power spikes that may impact sensitive electrical components.  We recommend confirming that any operating systems are still on-line and normal.
