SUBJECT: PWSA Valve Replacement – Donner House Domestic Water Shutdown 11/26
PWSA will be replacing a leaking water valve on the sidewalk along Margaret Morrison Street, in front of the Donner House from 11/25 – 11/26.
The excavation for the project will start on 11/25 and the valve will be replaced on 11/26. The valve replacement on the second day will require a water shut down for approximately 1 – 2 hours, from 9:30am – 11:30am, which will affect the Donner House and Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall – details for both below:
Donner House – no domestic water or fire suppression
Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall – will have domestic water, but no fire suppression
Sidewalk restoration will be required after this work is complete. An updated notice will be sent when that work has been scheduled.
