**CIC Shutdown Update**

The CIC shutdown has concluded for today. Power was restored by DLCO approximately at 7PM. Elevator operations have resumed.

Work is progressing at a gradual pace, necessitating the potential extension of tomorrow’s outage past noon until Eaton has completed its tasks.

Updates will be continued tomorrow with an approximate conclusion time.

REMINDER – There will be several power outages at the CIC (Robert Mehrabian Collaborative Innovation Center) starting on Friday, 5/16 through Sunday, 5/18 in order to upgrade the buildings switchgear. These upgrades will enable automatic power transfers during planned work.

This project will require three consecutive days of power outages:
5/16 from 10AM-6PM
5/17 from 6AM-6PM
5/18 from 6AM-6PM

Power will be restored at the end of each work period.

 

Emergency generators will be running if you have equipment on emergency power. Occupants in surrounding buildings may smell the exhaust fumes due to the generator running.

CIC WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE OUTAGES. THE CIC GARAGE WILL REMAIN OPEN ON FRIDAY BUT WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.  PLEASE PARK AT THE MOREWOOD LOT ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
