SUBJECT: Mellon Institute Exhaust Fan Shutdowns Starting Today 6/27
There is an ongoing project to support the improvement of redundancy conditions for one of Mellon Institute's rooftop exhaust fans. To make the necessary tie-ins, three of five exhaust fans need to be shut down, indicated in green below:
- FE 39C: 'Noonan' fan, although other labs are tied into it (McDonough, Jin, Guo). Previously agreed to shut down Friday 6/27 through 7/7. Fume hoods should not be in use.
- FE 39A. 39B: Serving Matyjaszewski and Collins labs. Shut down 6 AM Saturday 6/28; intent to be back up and running Monday 6/30.
