SUBJECT: Wean Hall 5th Floor Water Event – Passenger Elevators Out of Service
There has been a water event on the 5th floor of Wean Hall outside of the main passenger elevators near La Prima due to a broken valve. The leak has been isolated and FMS staff, along with our remediation contractor, are onsite.
All three passenger elevators are currently out of service due to this event. The freight elevator is still in service if needed.
The entire building perimeter heat has also been affected. Occupants should expect cooler temperatures than normal until repairs are completed.
Updates will be sent as more information becomes available.

UPDATE – The heating system in Wean Hall has been repaired and is back online. All temperatures in the building should be returning to normal.
