SUBJECT: Forbes Avenue Bridge Sidewalk Repairs

The City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) is currently performing repairs to the north sidewalk of the Forbes Avenue bridge adjacent to Richard King Mellon (RKM) Building.

Community members traveling through this area should expect temporary changes to pedestrian travel routes and use caution near the work zone. Since the south sidewalk remains closed, individuals may experience delays or need to seek alternate routes when traveling between campus locations.

We are working to confirm details regarding the pedestrian traffic plan, including accessible routing, and will share additional information as it becomes available.
