    Tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 21, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority will be repairing a major 20-inch water main break near the Pittsburgh campus that will cause a disruption to water service between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for many CMU residence halls.

    At this time it is believed that the affected buildings will be:

    Woodlawn;

    Roselawn;

    Margaret Morrison Apartments;

    Spirit House;

    Hamerschlag;

    McGill;

    Boss;

    Henderson;

    Welch;

    Scobell;

    Donner House;

    Skibo Gym;

    Doherty Apartments;

    The Greek Quad;

    Stever House; and

    Mudge House.

    Please note that restrooms should not be used in the above buildings and that additional facilities may be affected.

    Students living in the above facilities are encouraged to reserve some drinking water before the service interruption.

    Drinking water and restroom facilities will be available in other buildings on campus.

    Students living in the affected buildings will receive another communication once water service has been restored.

    Information updates, if necessary, will be posted on the Web at http://www.cmu.edu/alert.
