SUBJECT: Campus Tree Removal/Replacement

On 3/25 and 3/26, a few trees in the forested area behind Forbes/Beeler Apartments will be pruned of dead branches and a few will be removed due to deteriorating health and severe trunk decay.  Replacement trees and shrubs will be added to the hillside later this year as we remove dead wood and invasive shrubs in this forested hillside.

CMU works to keep our landscape thriving and safe. CMU is designated as a Tree Campus Higher Education school by the Arbor Day Foundation, recertified annually since 2014.  Oversight of tree maintenance, inspections, and overall health is an integral part of this program & success.
