REMINDER – A meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow July 7 at 9AM to discuss the upcoming 72-hour main campus steam shutdown.

If you would like to attend and have not yet requested an invitation, please email Shannon Wetzel at swetzel@andrew.cmu.edu.

As a reminder, the steam shutdown will begin at 6AM on Tuesday, July 28 and will affect most buildings connected to the main campus steam line. Housing buildings, Mellon Institute, SEI, and Dining Services in the CUC, Tepper, Highmark, and Resnik will not be affected.

The main campus will experience a 72-hour full steam shutdown starting at 6AM on Tuesday, July 28.  This outage will not affect Housing buildings, Mellon Institute, or the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).  Dining Services will not be affected in the CUC, Tepper, Highmark, or Resnik.  All other buildings connected to the main campus steam line will be affected.  Domestic hot water will not be available and space temperatures will be maintained within a wider range than normal.  

A meeting has been set up to discuss details of the steam shutdown on Tuesday, July 7, at 9AM.  Please send an email to Shannon Wetzel at swetzel@andrew.cmu.edu if you would like to be invited to this meeting.
