FMS — UPDATE – Hamerschlag Drive Closure 7/8 5AM-9AM

UPDATE – Please be advised of updated route details and temporary service changes regarding tomorrow morning’s Hamerschlag Drive closure.

When entering the alternate detour path leading toward Gates Garage, drivers must pass directly underneath Scaife Hall. The detour route map has been updated to highlight the adjusted path in red along Hamerschlag Drive.

Hamerschlag Drive is narrow and will require managing two-way traffic. FMS staff will be stationed on-site to assist with navigation and direct vehicles along the narrow segments of the road.

To limit the size of vehicles on the detour path, all garbage and waste collection in these areas has been placed on hold and will resume the following day.

Hamershlag Drive will close temporarily tomorrow morning, July 8, from 5AM to 9AM for a chiller installation at the FMS Building.

While CIC Garage access remains unaffected, vehicles heading to the Gates Garage, Scott Hall loading dock, Wean loading docks, or upper Newell Simon Hall must detour via Frew Street. Please refer to the attached map for the highlighted alternate route.
