SUBJECT: Scheduled Tile & Stairwell Maintenance – Cyert Hall, 8/19 & 8/20, 5PM-9PM

Please be advised that Facilities Management Services will be performing necessary tile maintenance and stairwell repairs in Cyert Hall on

Wednesday, 8/19 and Thursday, 8/20, 5PM – 9PM.

The red stairwell leading up to the 1st floor from the Forbes Avenue entrance will be completely closed to all foot traffic during the working hours each evening. Please use alternative stairwells or elevators during this time.

A designated, clear walkway through the vending area will remain open to maintain pedestrian access between Cyert Hall and Warner Hall.

Occupants and evening staff may notice a mild odor associated with the tile sealant during and shortly after application. The products being used meet safety standards, but ventilation will be active to help clear fumes quickly.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve our campus facilities.
