SUBJECT: Hammerschlag Hall #2 Elevator Shutdown 8/30 through 8/31

The Hammerschlag Hall #2 Elevator (this is the North Elevator) will be out of service until late Saturday 8/31. The hydraulic oil was heating up, found that the whole system has been contaminated causing the contractor replace the oil, send the pump and motor out to have cleaned and re-baked and replace the valve.  The pump and motor will be back and reinstalled and elevator #2 will be working by the end of the day Saturday, August 31.
