SUBJECT: Switching HVAC from Heating to Cooling

FMS has been monitoring the extended weather forecast which shows a warming trend with daytime highs reaching the 70s and nighttime lows in the 30s.  This unpredictable weather during seasonal transitions can create a challenge when it comes to switching the buildings on Campus from heating to cooling. 

With the increase in warmer temps during the day, our HVAC mechanics and steamfitters are starting to prepare the buildings for cooling.  They will be working during the month of April to switch all buildings on Campus to cooling.  

With temps still dropping into the 30s at night, please remember to close all windows in your spaces before leaving at the end of the day.
