SUBJECT: HWAC Heavy Equipment Delivery 9/28

Margaret Morrison street will be reduced to a single lane between Donner and Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, 9/28, from 5AM to 6AM due to heavy equipment being delivered for the Health, Wellness and Athletics Center (HWAC) project. 

Flaggers will be positioned at either end of the lane closure for traffic control and safety. A spotter will also be on site since the back-up alarm will be turned off due to the early morning hour.  See attached graphic for more info.

SUBJECT: Morewood Gardens Fire Alarm System Testing- 9/22/21

The Morewood Gardens fire alarm systems will be tested on Wednesday, 9/22, from 9:30AM-11:30AM.   The alarm speakers and strobes will be activated briefly during these tests, however, you will not be required to evacuate the buildings. Occupants are cautioned to respond to sounding fire alarms at all other times by immediately evacuating the building.

SUBJECT: Cohon University Center Concrete Work Starting Today 9/21

Concrete work will begin today, 9/21, in front of the Cohon University Center, on the Forbes Avenue side, in order to repair a storm drain.  Pedestrian traffic will be rerouted to the sidewalk along Forbes Avenue.  The CUC entrance will remain unaffected.  This work may take up to two weeks to complete.

SUBJECT: Cohon University Center Crane Lift 9/23

A crane will be at the Cohon University Center loading dock lifting materials onto the roof on Thursday, 9/23.  This work is expected to be complete by noon.  

There will also be a forklift and flatbed truck in the loading dock area being used to store materials. 

The crane will be blocking half of the loading dock during this time.
