SUBJECT: Forbes Beeler Residence Hall street closure 12/6/2021 – 12/31/2021

Starting Monday, December 6, 2021, the Forbes Beeler Residence Hall project will connect to Beeler Street’s city storm and sanitary system. This work will require Beeler Street to be closed at Forbes Ave.  This closure will last up to four weeks.  This closure will not affect Forbes Avenue, and all streets and houses will be accessible on Beeler Street via Wilkins Ave.  The detour routing will be Forbes Ave to Morewood Ave to Wilkins Ave to Beeler Street.  Please refer to the attached diagram noting the detour and detour signage.  The Port Authority will modify their bus routes and stops and post this information at the bus stop and on their website. Additionally, Duquesne Light will be doing street work on Beeler in this same area for three additional weeks after this work is complete. Beeler street will reopen with lane restrictions during the Duquesne Light work.
