FMS will be holding a meeting on Monday, May 11 at 12PM, to discuss and plan the timing for the repair of Hunt Library’s redundant electrical service.

The required repair will involve a multi-day, full building power outage, which will necessitate the closure of Hunt Library during the repair period.  In preparation, FMS has proactively developed a plan to temporarily power the building’s life safety systems and provide HVAC service to the fifth floor during the outage.

The purpose of this meeting is to explain the need for the repair, discuss timing for completing the work, and identify any critical areas that need temporary power.  The target timeframe for the repair is June or July.
